Gwen was trying to be nicer to Ben, she really was. But some of his misfortunes today were so comical, right out of a sitcom. She couldn't help but laugh. That was until things took a much more serious turn: a surprise attack by the forever knights. They stunned Ben, leaving him unconscious. Eddie and Max had no weapons that would be of any use with them. "Gwen," Eddie said, "Time for some magic." She wrapped Enoch in a magic "rope." At first it worked. Max ran to get Ben. But then Enoch called, "The amplifier, eliminate him." They fired a shot from the stun gun at Eddie, knocking him out as well. Gwen could feel her magic weaken. 'Amplifier?' It fit her theory. Enoch broke free, holding his sword in Max's direction. The plumber stopped, trying to come up with some way to stop the knights. But before he could, he too was hit with a stun gun. The knights took Ben, leaving Gwen to tend to the other two. In a few minutes, Max and Eddie started to awaken, to find Gwen
"Why Batgirl, what brings you here?" "You know why I'm here. That painting. It belongs in a museum." Killer moth smiled. "I guess this is where I'm supposed to say, 'so do you.'" From the other side of the room, they heard a sultry voice say, "Joker would like that one." "Ivy?" You've teamed up with this second-rate thief?" "Second rate thief!" Moth said indignantly, as Batgirl tried to keep track of both villains. "I thought you'd learned not to mock me. Time for another lesson," he said as he started to pull the trigger on his cocoon gun. Batgirl leaped out of the way just in time as Ivy ended up partly encased in the translucent yellow glue that the Moths gun emitted. "You idiot!" Ivy said as she directed her plants to catch Batgirl. What Moth had taught Batgirl was not to let her own pride endanger herself. It was time for a tactical retreat. She dove for the window. As she did one of Ivy's plants caught her by the ankle. She had slipped out of its grasp, but this made for an
Gwen flew a kite, while Ben and Eddie threw a football around. Ben caught the ball. "Nice one, but can you get past me for a touchdown?" He pointed to two trees behind him. "That's the end-zone." He threw the ball back to Eddie. Who caught it and smiled. Eddie ran forward, trying to weave past Ben. But Ben matched every move. 'He may not be very big, but he's quick.'Eddie thought to himself. Finally, Ben hit him, knocking him off balance, both of them falling to the ground. "Fumble and a recovery!" Ben declared. Eddie shook his head, "Sorry, it was a dead ball. No turnover," He added. "But let's see if you can do better." The boys switched places. Ben ran toward their agreed upon end-zone. Once again, he was hard to keep up with. Eddie almost had him, but Ben slipped past him. At a dead run Eddie was faster though and caught up to him, tackling him to the ground, only inches short of the touchdown. Both boys breathed hard, Ben suggested. "Halftime?" Eddie nodded, "Halftime."

The kids stopped on the trail they'd been hiking on. "I got to admit. It's really nice out here," Ben said. Eddie nodded. "I thought you might like it once you were unplugged from the gadgets for a while." "I thought gadgets were your thing," the shorter boy said. "They are. I do like stepping away from it sometimes." Gwen put a hand on Eddies shoulder, leaning slightly on him. "I think we need to go back though. My feet are getting sore." Eddie nodded saying, "Max probably has the decorations up by now." The Tennysons looked at him. "Can you at least pretend to be surprised," Gwen said. Eddie laughed and told her, "I'll do my best." He turned to Ben. "How about a ride to take some pressure off of her sore feet?" "One Wildmutt coming up," Ben said, hitting the watch. He growled. Gwen translated. "He said that he's starting to get the alien he wants more now." "That's great. Let's go." The two riders slid off Wildmutt just before they got to the campground. After Ben transformed back

The next stop was Horse Thief Lake, in South Dakota. As Max was setting up camp Ben and Gwen were arguing. "You were supposed to get the cake," Gwen yelled. "I thought you were going to get it." "Gwen," Eddie interjected. "How is he going to bring a cake here?" "Duh, XLR8." Both boys looked at her. She realized the problem in that line of thinking. How would he get the cake back in one piece? She sighed. "Then how are we going to get a cake for him?" "Ben," Eddie asked, "Can you get the ingredients for a cake? Then we can make it here." "I'm guessing you guys don't know anything about baking," Gwen said. "Not really," Eddie said. Ben told him. "Me and Gwen have had to learn to cook. But, no, I can't bake a cake." With her hands on her hips, Gwen said, "Fortunately, I do." Turning to Ben she said, "I'll give you a list. No substitutions." "That's great," Eddie said. "Buy top quality. I'm bankrolling this." Gwen made her list along with estimated prices. "Alright Ben, here's the list.

The next stop on their trip was Florida. As Max was talking about Gatorfest, Gwen and Eddie noticed Ben prying at the Omnitrix with a screwdriver. "Ben," Gwen warns. "You're going to break it." Eddie backs her up. "And given that it's bonded to your DNA, that could be really bad news for you." Max agreed and made Ben promise to leave the watch alone. Eddie, doubting that Ben's promise would last long, came up with an idea. "You know the real pirates of the Caribbean were in this area." He gave Ben a sly look. "I brought my fencing gear. How'd you like to learn some sword fighting?" Ben hesitated, looking suspiciously at his new friend; but Gwen saw it in his eyes. She knew he had Bens' interest. 'Score one for Eddie.' She thought to herself. Soon the boys were in the safety gear that Eddie had brought, and Ben seemed actually interested in the swordsmanship lessons. Eddie taught him the basics of defense; how to block and parry. Eventually Eddie could see that Ben was losing patience

"Good news, all the aliens are toast," Gwen told Max and Donovan. Eddie then added, "Bad news, so is the resort." Max looked over to his old friend. "So much for your one of a kind resort Donovan." Never one to look behind him, Donovan answered, "Yeah well just gives me more time to focus on my next one. It's going up on the moon. Max, how about you and the kids being my first guest?" Ben and Gwen looked at each other and nodded. They knew they were thinking the same thing. Gwen, who was standing next to Max, tugged on his sleeve. He leaned over and she whispered to him. He nodded. "We'll see about that, but we have another idea, Donovan. How about while you work on the moon resort, let Eddie join us for the rest of the summer?" Donovan gave it some thought. He had been so focused on preparing Eddie to be his junior partner and eventual successor, that he'd lost site of the fact that his grandson was just a kid. He looked down at Eddie and the look on his face was all he needed. "Can I

It was a warm summer day and Kristoff was in Arendelle for a momentous day. The coronation of Princess Elsa. Kristoff wasn't all that interested in the celebration of the upper crust of society and was in a hurry to get his business done and get back to his work. This was the busy season for ice harvesters. Later that day something very strange happened. The weather took a very sudden, and drastic turn. True, even in summer there was a cool breeze in the evenings but the landscape was now covered in ice and snow. In Kristoff's opinion even more than a normal winter. This does not bode well for business...not to mention being just plain freaky. As he rode along he saw the last thing he would ever have expected. A young girl walking alone in all of this snow. She was wearing a tiara. A member of some royal family here for the festivities no doubt. He wasn't interested in becoming part of what ever would bring a royal out here. "But Kristroff," he said in his Sven voice.
